I know film. I study film - from new to old, the classics, the good, the bad. I project my knowledge and curiosity of film onto every shot I create; whether it is a soft and subtle naturalistic image, or highly stylized old Hollywood hard lighting.  I take a director's vision and make it come to life.

 I have a varied background in the film industry. Working initially as a Production Assistant and working my way into 1st Assistant Director roles. Then one cold rainy day on set, I realized two things: I belonged in the film industry, but where I needed to be was in a creative department. I decided to buy a camera, and I never looked back.

Having worked as a 1st AD, I take that time management into account on every shoot and run a very efficient set, leading my team through challenges and time constraints to make our day, every day. Keeping the production on time and on budget. 

 

In advertising and commercials, I have worked with major national brands including Rabbit Hole Distillery. For whom I filmed national advertising campaigns, new product release promos, and a New York Times Square billboard ad.
